    Depending on the development project phase, we can either hand pick the most suitable components for a new system, or integrate already existing components

    We can help creating control system hierarchy and select most compliant communication protocols between devices

  • APPLICATION SPECIFIC FEATURES

    When system basic operations are known, we can help you create additional, sophisticated functions. Sensor data handling, device controls, system diagnostics and tailored software functions are some of the features that will enhance machine performance.

  • COMPLIANT VEHICLE CONTROL UNIT (VCU)

    VCU hardware is selected based on the needed CAN-bus and I/O interfaces. Based on application specific features and the VCU, Hevtec system specialists will develop the most suitable software.

  • HUMAN MACHINE INTERFACE (HMI)

    We provide VCU compatible HMI for the machine, including visual display of real-time data, system diagnostics, error logs and configurable parameters

  • SYSTEM OPERATION & FUNCTIONALITY

Engineering

In addition to system integration, Hevtec offers electrical and mechanical engineering services. Through our wide network and experience with global component manufacturers in various industries, we are truly capable of providing solutions for the most unique needs. We provide both low (24V or less) and high voltage (up to 1000V) system engineering.

    Together with the machine builder, we can define and validate electric system performance. This can include all powertrain components as well as chassis electrics

    When the performance specifications and component options are combined, we can make calculations to find the most efficient and reliable electric components

  • COMPONENT SUPPLIER CO-OP

    Using our network, we can introduce several options as component supplier and find the most convenient solution for you. By committing a supplier to the project from the start, we ensure that communication between all parties runs smoothly

  • COMPONENT SELECTIONS AND LAYOUT

    Based on component sizing and preferred suppliers we can select the best options for the development project together with the machine builder

  • SYSTEM DESIGN

    With all components selected, we can design layouts, systems and circuit diagrams as well as create wire harness documentations

  • TRAINING

    We also offer training for the new electric system. Training can be tailored for specific needs from service documentation to system diagnostics and measurements.

Testing and commissioning

Supporting the system integration, software development and engineering tasks, we deliver hands-on testing, commissioning and data logging services. Our goal is to improve your machine performance. In order to set the bar higher, measuring the existing system is crucial. Testing the new system is equally important for verifying whether the predefined goals are achieved or not. Commissioning is vital during machine prototyping as all the system functions, features and devices are tested – most of the system level problems can be found during this phase.

  • PROTOTYPING

    This is one of the most important phases in verifying the proof of concept. We have a lot of experience with component installation and problem solving on-site. To help our customers avoid pitfalls, we gladly share this know-how.

  • COMMISSIONING

    It is rewarding to see the formation of a new system. At the time of commissioning, timely responses from all parties are necessary to ensure smooth commissioning and start-up of a prototype.

  • SYSTEM PERFORMANCE TESTING

    After a prototype is running and functional tests have been performed, monitoring is the key in maintaining high-level system performance. We have the expertise and tools to provide you with accurate testing data.
